Dunfermline Reign is delighted to announce two brand new part-time roles, made possible through investment from the basketballscotland and sportscotland Club Support Programme.
As our club has grown, we now support around 200 players from age 3 to 18, so has the need for dedicated support both behind the scenes and on the court. These two new roles will help us run more efficiently, communicate better with our members and build a stronger pathway from our community programmes into competitive basketball.
Communications & Membership Officer — 12 hours/week
This role is about helping more people discover, join and stay involved with Dunfermline Reign. It's a primarily administration-focused post covering member communications, promotion and marketing, volunteer support and the day-to-day admin and governance that keeps a growing club running smoothly.
Salary: c. £26,500–£29,000 pro rata | Contract: 3-year fixed term | Location: mainly remote, with some time at Dunfermline Learning Campus
Early Pathway Lead — 20 hours/week
This role is about growing our community programme and building the bridge into competitive basketball. Working closely with Active Schools and Fife College, the postholder will grow participation, raise coaching quality, and improve the readiness of players moving from community sessions into our competitive pathway.
Salary: c. £32,000–£35,000 pro rata | Contract: 3-year fixed term | Location: based at Dunfermline Learning Campus, working across Dunfermline and surrounding communities
One Role, or Two?
These two roles are designed to work closely together. While we are advertising them separately, we'd also love to hear from candidates who feel they could combine both positions into a single, more substantial post of around 32 hours per week. If that's of interest to you, just let us know in your application.
